It is a privilege and honour to have the chance to improve myself and support our mental health community. The Comedy Courage experience gives me a level of peace, self-acceptance and a new look on life.	The truth is always funny. Joining Comedy Courage has given me support emotionally and a lot of new friends to hang out with. I recommend this form a therapy to anyone. We are going to ROCK!	I have enjoyed a weekly dose of the best medicine ever. Billy Mitchell the doctor, our teacher prescribes various exercises designed to create mental health wellness. Thanks to Billy, Darcy James and my 2009 cast of courageous comics my life has taken a light hearted NEW direction.
From all my storms in my teacup, Comedy Courage was my only raft of joy in an ocean filled with despair. So I stuck in my oar and floated when I could have sank. I found refuge in Comedy Courage’s laughter lighthouse!	Comedy Courage has had an incredibly positive influence on my life. I'm in awe of the strength and talent of everyone in our group, and their ability to get a laugh out of the grimmest of circumstances. If you can laugh at something you can diminish its influence; being in Comedy Courage has helped me to own my crazy instead of running from it!	I am so happy to be a part of Comedy Courage. It not only helps get rid of the stigma towards mental health diagnoses, it personally lifts my spirit. Thanks Billy & Darcy and the cast for bringing humour in to my life again.
Comedy Courage lets my inner child have a chance to come out and play again, which as an adult I don’t get to do very often. Thank you Comedy Courage and my comedic new friends!	Comedy is a survival mechanism. It’s a prescription for relief and its essential to having a human experience whatever your affliction. Comedy Courage is a great program and process, because then next time I go psychotic I will think, GREAT now I have new material.	Comedy Courage’s process is enlightening and mentally healthy for me. There has been much to laugh at through my new looking glasses of laughter. Try some on and you will see mental health wellness all around us!
Comedy Courage has taught me a way to face my depression and some of my fears through humor and laughter. I believe that laughter is good for the soul, and I am so grateful for the opportunity to share parts of my life in a lighthearted and humorous way in front of an appreciative audience. What an experience!	I am honored to be a part of Comedy Courage for the fourth year. This yr. I am also being a mentor to our new students. I am very excited to be able to give back what I can to Comedy Courage. I am so proud of the efforts that are being made and am looking forward to this years Gala performance.	In a very short time of working with Comedy Courage I can feel the healing power of laughter. I was struck by how the group members testified that this process had been their greatest healing. Comedy Heals!
