Comedy Courage is the first program of its kind in Canada to teach people with mental health diagnoses and issues how to write a comedy routine about their own personal journeys to wellness, and deliver it before live audience! What began as a slow growing dream for founder Darcy James has turned into Canada's largest Comedy Benefit Concert in support of Mental Health Wellness and our Mental Health Communities.

Comedy Courage’s vision does empower individuals with mental health diagnoses to discover their comedic talent, and to use this talent to educate, create awareness, break the stigma of mental health diagnoses/issues, and to raise funds for direct service agencies that support people living with mental health diagnoses/issues.
